Let’s Talk “The C House”
Location: The “C” House restaurant is located in the historic area of Seminole Heights Tampa FL.
Service: This place was another recommended spot. I’ve eaten here on two occasions and the service is quite pleasant. I’ve made reservations for both occasions. We were seated right away. The server was pleasant, but I was disappointed for his lack of knowledge about the menu options. This was not a good sign I thought.
Food: The “C” House is known for it’s fine champagne, charcuterie, cheesecake, and anything that starts with the letter “C”. How cool is that? We asked for suggestions from our server and like I stated earlier, I was disappointed with his lack of knowledge about the menu. We went ahead and reviewed the menu several times before making up our minds. I settled for the Chef’s Feature Burger- 8oz premium house- blend beef, cheddar cheese, bacon jam, fried cajun straws, house made bread & butter pickles, bbq sauce, brioche bun, served with fries. My friend, ordered the “Call me Fabio- cauliflower rice, grilled chicken and mushrooms, diced tomatoes, red onions, cucumber, spinach, feta, hummus, and lemon- basil vinaigrette. Overall, great for brunch or lunch.
Ambience: The layout of the restaurant is super spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. The decor reminded me of Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper style of decor. The rustic country farmhouse style and feel with succulents, lanterns and mason jars is seen at every angle of the restaurant. I totally love the decor and ambience of the restaurant.

A Dash of Encouragement: The “C” House reminded me of just being on the show Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines. The decor of this place takes you to HGTV. Chip and Joanna Gaines makes dreams of living in a beautiful home come through for couples. The Gaines will renovate and remodel an old home, something many of us might overlook and make it look authentically new. How many of us have big dreams or goals and are thinking that old dream cannot be revived or I’m too set in my ways and I’ve always done things my way or I will never change my habits or thinking. Well, I say anything can be revived and made brand new. I love the scripture 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. We can have new mindsets towards our goals, our dreams that have been tucked away, our perspective in life, our friendships, and our marriages, these are just of few areas I say can have new beginnings. Let’s start to look at our old situations, dust them off and start the renovation and remodeling process!!! Make it new!!
