Let’s talk “Sacred Pepper”
Location: This exquisite upscale restaurant is located in the heart of the North Tampa area, Carrollwood.
Service: We were seated right away by our host. Of course, I highly recommend calling ahead and making reservations. Our server Amanda was terrific, from her knowledge of the menu to providing guidance for our dinner choices. She really made it memorable when she brought out the extra bread, pretzel, and butter. Just kidding! Honestly, the special moment was the surprise birthday dessert for my friend.
Food: The menu offers a wide selection of contemporary Americans with a Mediterranean mix of foods. Even though I have eaten here twice before, the third time was exceptional; why? Because we were celebrating my friend’s birthday. Remember the last post; honor and celebrate someone else! I chose to celebrate with my friend, back to the food. So, for starters, we ordered the crab cakes (jumbo lump blue crab, fresh corn salsa, lemon herb aioli). Next, for the entrees, I ordered the Crab Crusted Shrimp Skewer (parmesan garlic crab crusted shrimp, cheddar creamed corn, grilled asparagus, butter wine sauce) with a side of the Gruyère & White Cheddar Mac and Cheese house-made Gemelli pasta, creamy white cheddar and Gruyère cheese, bread crumbs. Next, the birthday lady ordered the Grilled Pork Chop (pear chutney, Fiocchi pasta with butter sage). She was in heaven with the burst of flavors from every bite. I was, too 😂. To close it out, our server came out with a cute little dessert with a candle wishing her a happy birthday. We were so full but delighted.
Ambience: As you walk into this restaurant, you will be blown away by the beautiful, stylish decor. There is private dining available for any occasion, with no outside seating. The setting brings you warmth and style at the same time. Sacred Pepper offers you the joy of great dining while moving to the sounds of great entertainment. You will love to bring your special someone here on a date, or it could be a great place to meet up with some friends.

A Dash of Encouragement: Sacred Pepper states that food, flavors, people, and style happen around the table. When I think of the word sacred, I am reminded of connection and dedication to purpose. We each have a purpose in life. I am blessed to be a blessing! I live to serve people; that is sacred to me. What is sacred to you? What can you do to be a blessing to someone else? I say, what is sacred to your heart? What are you devoted to? I say find your purpose, serve and be devoted! I want to be remembered as a dedicated person to my faith, family, friends, and others that cross my path.
