Hope! Wait! Pray! On the Water!
Let’s Talk “Peter Ott’s on the Water”
Location: This restaurant is in Camden, Maine, and as their website states, this staple one “ott” not to miss.

Service: Where do I begin? On our continued adventure in the New England area was our stop in Maine to visit a dear friend. They took us to this quint little city called Camden to eat. Walking down the alley, we came to Peter Ott’s right on the water. We were greeted by the host and were seated right away. I was super excited as we are from the South and have heard great reviews about Maine’s seafood.
Food: Maine Seafood was on our minds. The food was tasty. I finally had the famous lobster roll (fresh-picked Maine lobster, toasted roll, lemon aioli)with sweet potato fries and an order of the lobster corn chowder- Peter Ott’s original recipe. My husband ordered the lobster BLT (fresh-picked Maine lobster, bacon, tomato, lemon aioli, served on a toasted ciabatta bun, choice of russet or sweet potato fries). He got regular fries. Our friends got the fried haddock sandwich (fresh haddock filet with swiss cheese, tomato, and coleslaw on a toasted ciabatta bun) with the sweet potato fries and a Maine clam chowder ( a New England Classic). Oh my word, I wanted more the first time I’ve ever had a lobster roll. I must say we will be back!

Ambience: The ambiance was so quint and nautical. Even though we sat outside to eat and enjoy the water view, I had an opportunity to go inside, and it was just as beautiful and warm. After eating, you can take a stroll through the little town. I highly recommend this place for lunch with friends or a special evening out.
