Let’s Talk “Oxford Exchange”
Location: This quint and unique restaurant is located in South Tampa, right across from the University of Tampa and close to Downtown Tampa. Parking could be a hassle, so try to get there a little early as there are only a few parts you can park on the street for free. If not, you could end up paying $10.00 for parking.
Service: I would highly recommend making reservations as this place stays busy. My friend made the reservations. Being that it was her choice, we followed her in and we were seated right away by our host. Our server, Molly was just so super bubbly, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall, the service experience was top-notch.
Food: The menu had a wide variety of breakfast, and lunch selections, which I must mention are served all day. Now that is a hit for me, as I enjoy a good breakfast. I was super excited as I connected with a few friends I hadn’t hung out with for a while. So, let me get straight to our selections. We wanted breakfast. So, my one friend ordered the OE Classic two eggs, bacon, crispy Yukon fingerlings, toast. My other friend ordered the Breakfast Tacos chorizo, 2 eggs, manchego, jalapeño pico de gallo, cumin aioli, microgreens, flour tortillas, and I ordered Omelet bacon, chive, spinach, tomato, manchego. Oh, my word, I was in heaven…or should I say Lala land. The omelet was a hit for me. Next, we shared the Fall Spice Pancakes strawberry, sweet mascarpone, pecan graham cracker crumble, warm maple syrup. For our drinks, I ordered a hot chocolate. Must I say I always order hot chocolate when having breakfast, don’t judge me 😂 , I just love hot chocolate. The girls ordered a mimosa and a drink, I do not recall. Sorry, but it was interesting to see Molly do a mixed drink at the table.
Ambience: Oh, this is the exciting part to blog about, so as you walk into this restaurant, you will be blown away by the beautiful, stylish decor and the uniqueness and set-up of the inside. Inside, you will find different stations, such as the bookstore, hang-out area, gift shop, and champagne bar area. Then there is the restaurant that has inside seating and outside sunlit conservatory seating. If you choose to eat outside and look up, you will see the outside through the glass roof, which is retractable. Now, this is super cool! There are private event areas available for any occasion. The setting brings you conversation points in style at the same time. Great meet-up place. You will enjoy the conversations around the table as each area gives you something to talk about. Overall, I enjoyed being a part of the different areas of the restaurant; I will definitely return to Oxford.

A Dash of Encouragement: Oxford exchange! 🤔 When I think of Oxford, I think of collegiates, such as Oxford University in Oxford, England, or the educational resource such as Oxford Dictionary. This is precisely the theme of the Oxford Exchange, where great conversations of encouragement take place around the table. Us ladies had such a good time encouraging each other in the Lord as friends. We were exchanging the gift of encouragement and sisterhood. Sisterhood is admirable when we can accept each other’s differences while loving each other through our life journeys and even our flaws. So, my question to you is, do you have some faithful friends who can encourage you through life’s ups and downs? It’s beneficial to have a village that will listen to you without judgment and give you sound advice based on God’s truth. So, in the heart of gratitude, I take this moment to thank a few of my Amigas (friends) for being bright lights on my life’s path. Find your village and say thank you!
