Service: Second time around birthday celebration at this seafood restaurant is located on the property of Wyndham Orlando Grand Resort in Orlando, Florida. I would highly recommend making a reservation. When you arrive, there is valet parking waiting to greet you. You will be walking into the Wyndhams resort lobby and, the restaurant is located to the right. Make sure to get your valet card stamped by the host when leaving the restaurant this way, your parking is covered. Okay, let’s get back to the service. We were greeted by a great host and were seated right away. I just love the ambience of this restaurant, but we will get to that later. Our server was amiable and adored our little guy who joined us to celebrate Papa’s birthday. Like I said, back in 2016, when we first tried this restaurant, we were blown away with the service and food. So, we wanted to recreate the memories this birthday around. The overall experience from beginning to end, the service was top notch!
Food: According to their website, you will enjoy fine, fresh seafood with a uniquely Southern twist at Deep Blu Seafood Grille. The food is freshly made, and the menu offers many gluten-free options, a great plus for me. Our server made some recommendations, and we ordered an appetizer Kabocha Bisque (Pepita Brittle | Créme Fraíche. It had a unique, delightful taste to it, I would recommend. My husband ordered their special, a seafood Paella for our main dishes, and I ordered the same dish I had last time, except I was disappointed with the flavors and how my steak was cooked. Grilled 8oz Filet (Smoked Wild Mushrooms | Potato Mousse | Romesco Emulsion | Shaved Red Wine Curry Butter | Mustard Frill). For our veggies, the Grilled Asparagus (sauce Béarnaise) was to die for. Overall, the food was not so great like it was from our 2016 experience.
Ambience: The restaurant is located on the premises of Bonnet Creek, Wyndham Orlando Grand Resort. The layout of the restaurant offers indoor seating. The outside view is limited as it’s located in the heart of the resort, surrounded by condos. However, the decor makes up for the exterior view by far. The high ceilings with gorgeous light fixtures and beautiful drapes are just a symbol of pure class. Basically, you pay for a moment of relaxing ambiance and classiness.

A Dash of Encouragement: My husband loves seafood. I wanted him to have the best for his birthday weekend, and dining at a seafood restaurant was part of his celebrations. When I think of celebrating someone, In my opinion, you should go all out to make them feel extra special. I am not telling you they break the bank, but what I am saying is what they love, do for them. It could be the simplest thing, like buying them their favorite chocolate bar or taking them to a seafood restaurant. If you can’t afford certain things, I say if the person likes the outdoors, take them for a walk on the trail or beach and have a packed picnic (🤩 wow). Remember, it’s the thought that counts. I think of my relationship with the Lord and how he thinks of me each day and celebrates and loves me uniquely each day. (I wrote about being uniquely loved by the Lord in one of my previous posts). I am blessed with a wonderful husband, a family, friends, coworkers, or how about just being celebrated by someone telling you you have been a blessing in my life. We all want to be observed somehow. Even people who say I don’t care to be celebrated, I don’t buy into that. Each of us was born to be celebrated and loved. I challenge you to find someone you can celebrate today. “Celebrate and be celebrated”
