Let’s Talk “Boulon Brasserie “
Location: Located in the heart of downtown Tampa. There is a paid parking garage with plenty of parking right off Water street. Also, there is paid parking on the street in front of the restaurant, but we opted for the garage and walked about 5 minutes to the restaurant.
Service: It was a time to catch up with the ladies. We wanted a midpoint for all of us and opted to try Boulon Brasserie for lunch. I highly recommend making reservations for this place. One of the ladies had been to the restaurant a day prior and was an excellent guide with the menu choices; Paul, our server, was outstanding.
Food: We started with the Hors D’euvers Blue Crab Beignets-spicy remoulade and Shrimp Nola-creole Spice, garlic, biscuit. Oh, your taste buds will be refreshingly excited with these two choices. As for our main brunch dishes, two of us ordered the Omelette Gruyère-farm eggs, fondue, and mixed greens, and the other two ladies ordered the Lobster Pot Pie-puff pastry, Sherry Cream. Let’s just say I tasted this one and said, ” Oh my word; I laughingly stated, “I ordered the wrong dish and wished I had done the pot pie.” Finally, we ordered all four menu choices for dessert: the crème brulée, the warm butter cake, the profitèroles, and the bread pudding. Let’s just say, there was nothing left on the plates.

Ambience: This restaurant ambience is warm, and its modern décor is very inviting. You feel a sense of luxury and relaxation when you walk into the restaurant. The hosts were very welcoming. Outside seating gives you the choice of inside or outdoor seating. With Florida’s unpredictable weather, we opted for inside.
