Goodwill!
Let’s Talk about “Bonsai Sushi Restaurant.”
Location: Located in the Wesley Chapel area. I’ve always seen this place next to one of my favorite breakfast restaurants and never thought of dining here. Still, when one of your girlfriends said I want us to get together and try this sushi place, I was on board, all about hanging with great company and having great conversations.
Service: I was the last one to order due to my tardiness at the restaurant as my girlfriends were guiding me through the menu. The service was excellent; the server came over right away to take my order when I sat down. All I wanted was a glass of Moscato. Overall, the service was excellent.

Food: Now, I don’t love sushi, but I like it. I was more excited to hang with the ladies than eating the sushi. I am not a risk-taker with eating raw sushi. Came to learn that none of the ladies don’t either. With my friends helping me through the menu, I ordered the spicy Lobster Roll; it was a hit at the table. I’ll try to break it down as to what was requested. For appetizers: Miso Soups, House salads, for our sushi night experience: Spider Roll, Waikiki Roll, Mexican Sunrise Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Volcano Roll. We were so stuffed there was no room for dessert. Honestly, been to a few different sushi places in the area, and this is by far the best one. Great pick goes to our sushi queen!

Ambience: There isn’t too much to write about in this area as I was running late (sorry Amigas). When I entered the restaurant, I found my party of friends right away as it’s not a vast area. The decor is simple, with a sushi bar area. The Asian flair theme of the restaurant is inviting and warm when you enter. Again, as a first-timer, I was impressed.
Price: $$
A Dash of Encouragement: It was a ladies’ night to just hang out to live, laugh, and love. Bonsai Sushi restaurant brought some old and new friends together to just that. I always wanted to know the meaning of the Japanese word “Bonsai,” and did a little research, and according to mythicalbonsai.com; it means a tree in a pot, with great purpose and symbolism or goodwill. The Bonsai tree symbolizes harmony and balance with nature, patience, humility, and luck. In China, it was a symbol for the elite. Our Bonsai sushi night was a group of ladies exploring food, great conversation from relationships to showing pictures of our kids to just great laughter of only wearing one contact lens; that’s another story all by itself 😂 . Each lady at the table represented these beautiful virtues of the Bonsai Tree symbol. We are all different, but that makes us attractive, beautiful women! I embrace and cherish friendships. Sometimes, I think I care too much, but that is the gift God gave me, and that is my Bonsai virtue (harmony). I love people and wish everyone success in their endeavors, living their best life is my joy to witness. The question is, what is your virtue, and do you cherish and wish everyone around you a little Bonsai? I say, Bonsai to you.
A Dash of Life, Laughter and Love!
