Double for your Trouble!
Let’s Talk “Rocca”
Location: Located on West Palm Ave in Tampa. There is a paid parking right across the street of Armature Works. Also, there is paid valet parking in front of the restaurant, which we did for $10.00. However, if you choose to park, there is plenty. After eating at Rocca’s you can walk across the street to Armature works and the river walk.
Service: This was a double date, and I highly recommend reservations for this restaurant as it is hard to get into. Our server, Connor was very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. He should slow down when providing menu information. However, all menu suggestions were super yummy.

Food: For starters, we were given complimentary cheese choices, it was an acquired taste. We ordered the SHRIMP FRITTI key west pink shrimp, speck, herbes buerre blanc and ASPARAGUS saffron zabaione, seabeans, burnt leek, hazelnut; just a heads up, the portion sizes are small, so if you think you will get a lot of food on the plate, please don’t be deceived. Back to the start, honestly, the table enjoyed the shrimp the most. For our entrée, we selected from the pasta category; RAVIOLINI del PLIN veal, demi-glace, rosemary and BISTECCA prime 20 oz new york strip, garlic confit, broccolini, bagna verde. The steak came sliced on a plate. Both choices were very delightful. The steak was tender and melted in my mouth. The overall food experience was satisfying. As for dessert, we received a complimentary dessert, it was an instreasting sqaure type of chocolate that had an interesting taste. Anyways, we opted to go for a walk down to Jennie’s Ice-Cream shop instead of ordering in the restaurant.
Ambience: This restaurant ambience is very earth-toned and modernly warm and inviting. You feel a sense of earthly relaxation when you walk into the restaurant. There is no outside seating, but you can view the outside wherever you sit. The hosts were very welcoming.
